This balance is designed to be used by gun enthusiasts as they weigh gunpowder. It is magnetically damped and easy to use. I use it for quick weighing of parts for small indoor models. The only tricky part to using this is that it measures in grains. there are 437.5 grains to the oz, or about 15.4 grains to the gram. Nothing a calculator can't fix.
