School Competitions This page has been established to provide information relevant to Free Flight Model Aircraft for students and teachers particiating in school competitions. In addition to the "Volunteer" and "Assistance Needed" lists maintained here, there are numerous links to other sites offering tips and guidance for building models appropriate to these competitions.

There is also a free plan for the Blatter SO. This model is an excellent starting point for the rubber powered propeller driven model competition. While designed within the constraints of the Science Olympiad rules, there is still room for modification and improvement. It is also a good start for the Technology Student Association competition. Dick Baxter has prepared a list of suggested models and tips to help out as well.
